Boat insurance

Any idea who is the best insurers to go with ?

I've always used Craftinsure, but I've never had to claim so I don't know what they are like when you need to.

I'm also with Craftinsure and have been for a few years. I've never had a claim but I've spoken to them on the phone, they've been easy to get and hold of and very helpful.

If your over fifty saga do a very good insurance and are flexible. My shet 498 is in harbour all year and insured fully comp March to October and third party for the rest, cost under £100.

We have found Saga pretty good too. They are even selling cheap shares to policyholders at the moment!

Hi guys just got my first Shetland this week a 498 I got insurance through a boat comparison web site the insurer is ceta / towes £130 full comp insurance not sure if this is good or not but I thought it was.As starting with no claims bonus. cheers jim
