TURN BUTTON HOLE PUNCH

Hi all,

Just purchased a new cockpit cover for my boat, however I now need to add some eyelets to the PVC cover for the turn buttons; does anyone know where I can buy a tool for punching a hole through?

Just looked at the site, was hoping to find it cheaper than £117.96, as I only need to punch a couple of eyelets, anyone else had this problem ?

Most of the punch's are crap. I brought a cheap one £20 waste of money. Better off using a soldering iron if you can find one with a flat blade got mine from France. Seals the fabric at the same time

+1 for using a soldering iron - you can shape a hole easily and as said above, it seals the edges to stop it fraying.

Get yourself a glass chopping board as we'll to put underneath it protects the surface your working on and will mean you can concentrate on the iron and and not on what your damaging underneath.
