Anchor weight for a family four Mk2?

Just wondering if there's a recommended or guideline anchor weight for a Family Four Mk2?

I've got a Shetland 535 which is a very similar size & weight to a F4 and I'm using a 5kg Bruce Anchor with about 2m of chain. It seems to hold fine in all states of current I find on the South Coast.
If you were in stronger currents and tides (such as a strong tidal estuary) you may want to go for a 7.5kg and/or a longer chain?

I use a 2.5kg danforth style anchor with 8m of chain for general anchoring around the Pembrokeshire coast, with a 5kg danforth as an emergency storm anchor kept under a cabin seat.

Hi London Thing
had a 5kg claw type on my family four with 5mtrs of chain and 40 mtrs of 4000 kg breaking strain rope . Hope this helps.

We use a 7.5 kg Bruce anchor for the main, and an 8 kg Danforth for the back up, with 10 m of chain and 40 m of rope for each. We use the Bruce most of the time, and have never had any problems with it holding in all our trips around the coastal areas of Scotland, except once - we anchored in kelp in a 4 knot current off Belnahua last year and it started dragging slowly when we were on the island. Luckily we managed to get back to it in the dinghy before it disappeared! We won't do that again.
