Newbie looking to buy this boat, but struggling to ID model

Hi,

I've always hankered after owning a boat after living by the Thames for the last 8 years. A friend of mine recently drew my attention to the boat in the picture (attached) which is for sale.
The present owner (a boat builder) rescued this boat a while ago and thinks that it is a Shetland.



I've scoured the Shetland website and it certainly looks (to my untrained eye) like a Shetland, but I can't pin down the exact model.

Does anyone have any idea which model this is please?

Hi to be honest it's got look of a Shetland 535 but looks a bit smaller and i cant see whole boat to realy say but unless its another type shetland but smaller not sure . Good luck

Thank you for your response. Yes I thought it might be a 535 too, but as I said, I'm no expert!

I'll be going back to see it on Weds, so I'll take some better pictures then and hopefully have a poke around to see if I can find any form of serial number.

The oat looks like a Norman 18, not a Shetland. Most 18s had a GRP frame for the windscreens but the other mouldings look right for a Norman.
