As new owner of a Shetland 27 am desperate for an owner's operating manual which is not with the boat. Have an Engine manual but require details on the use of other fitments. Also, can anyone tell me how the Speed gauge works ? The depth gauge indicator is okay but can't find out how speed records.
Have tried to obtain a manual from Shetland themselves but to no avail. Am not very impressed with their after sales service which appears to be extremely poor.

If you have the Clipper Duet log and echo sounder you can download the manual from http://www.nasamarine.com/downloads.php
Most fittings on boats are sourced from other manufacturers who know far more about them than the boat builders do. My Shetland 27 came will a good collection of user manuals for its various fittings but I have still needed to downloads few more.

A good speedo is found on the downloads on Free mobile apps, I use "Speedguage" which records each trip . Well worth a look !
