New (to me) 640 Owner

Hi folks,
Just joined the forum after buying a 640 (number 172) which has spent most of its life in Loch Lomond at Ardlui I believe.

Fitted with BMC 1.5/ Enfield and now on a trailer at home for some tidying.

Interested in any knowledge of this boats previous history /build date etc.would be welcomed as would info on removing the aluminium framed sliding & front windows! Have seen some advice on the forums but not sure how the inner and outer are held together.

Also looking to replace the 55mm wide B section fender all round but can't seem to find and exact match yet. Any suggestions, anyone done this?

Nice boat, I own a 640 (No. 37, built 1974) myself. I love to refurbish it from year to year. This year I have finished a new canopy, homemade. Was bunch of work...
