It's off to sea I go!

I bought a family four mk4 last year with an old 15hp Yamaha 2 stroke and have very much enjoyed chugging up and down the Chelmer navigation but the seller only had to mention they were good at sea to set my mind wandering!

So a vhf licence, rya level 2 power boat course and a whole load of expense later and its off to a marina in Essex. She's having a 50hp 2 stroke elpto mariner fitted this week which hopefully should be enough to get it planing, can't wait to start a bit of marina hopping and possibly some sea fishing.

If anyone has any thoughts or tips about using the f4 at sea I'd love to hear them.

We have only used our F4 in the sea (apart from a few days on the Caledonian Canal). Descriptions of our trips as well as various refurbishments we have done over the years at our website below.
