Oh yes, my offer was accepted, lifejackets thrown into the bargain too, just need a radio and auxiliary engine. 10th November, I should be the proud owner of a shetland blackhawk...! I have photos but don't want to post them just yet, they'll be posted hopefully on the 11th...!

well done and the aux we can send to you and the warranty will start from when you start using it and not from when you buy it as you are now part of the Shetland family

It's looking like I can't get insurance because I have no boating experience, does anyone know otherwise...?

Tried a lot of them dave, I get so far with filling in the sections then the final hurdle is down to experience, the only one who would cover me will only do so if I have someone with experience on board with me.
