Potter hiegham bridge
Hi has anyone take a Shetland 27 under potter hiegham bridge

I have not been to Potter Heigham Bridge with out Shetland but I regularly take ours under a similarly low bridge.
Potter Heigham Bridge is listed as 7'7" clearance. My local bridge is only 7'3" but with a much shallower arch. I can get through with the screens down but it is very close at the corners. The engine control lever is the highest point so we have the consolation that if it did hit the bridge we would start going astern!
Even if someone comes forward who has actually taken a 27 through you will still have to be very careful as the water level can vary. If possible, make your first attempt going upstream so that you can go more slowly and drop back easily if it is too tight.
