Burgee/flag

Hello Forum.

Does the Shetland Owners Association have a burgee/pennant/flag?

If so, how do I buy one?

There certainly is/was a smart shetland owners association burgee. I make a point of flying mine as it creates interest and Shetland's are everywhere. Admin ( Sue ) is the person to ask if they are still available.

I have currently run out of the burgees. The past supplier, Hampshire flags have not only put their prices up sky high but have also extended their minimal order number to way out of our reaches . So I am in process of sourcing another supplier who are not so eye wateringly expensive.

Our boat club uses Ensign Flags (www.ensignflags.com). Burgees start at £17 or is that sky high?

That doesn't sound a lot to me.

The Viking Owners Club burgee/pennant/flag is currently £22 (but this also includes life time membership)

Can someone in ADMIN please organise a new Burgee /Flag I've spoken to numerous Shetland owners who would be keen to buy one if and when they became available
So let's get a move on so we can all fly the flag

I don't think that's the way to get a burgee. Shetland Boats have no interest in burgess . Only our association's long suffering admin (Sue) can attempt that feat .

I would support the call for a flag/burgee. In my cruising area there are a number of clubs who proudly fly their club flag/burgee/penant.

I had one on my former Viking from the Viking Owners Club.

I would like to 'dress' my Shetland as well!
