I'm needing a boat load of stuff, no pun intended

I have an, oldy but WILL be goody, shetland 570, and I need window rubbers, alloy windshield frame, throttle and gear control for my evinrude 40 horse 1984, new bits preferably but will take good nick seconds. plus does anyone have a workshop manual for the same outboard?? Anyone?

heres a good place to get seals from but you will need to measure the thickness of the window and the fibreglass it fits onto and then choose the appropriate seal and filler strip

as far as the aluminium window frame that is going to be your hardest task finding one.

All the frame apart from the centre vertical should be easy to find (although slightly different depth) frame an aluminium stockholder.

The centre vertical piece is pretty unique and that will be the major heartache finding something as an alternative.

Not sure on your throttle and gear cables but suspect they should be standard 33c cables, just a case of choosing the correct length based on what you already have

The 40hp you have will not get the 570 on the plane and will probably max out at about 10knots.

that's presuming you want to take her on the sea, if its for inland riverways etc where there is a speed limit it will be fine

Thanks for replying so prompt,
I will check out the web address first chance, thanks for that.

The outboard is a 2 stroke. It came with the boat and it has a matching auxiliary of 8 HP, It will be something I'll have to invest in, in the future, but it will do just now. With the plane I assume you refer to the aqua plane, I've no clue by the way so it won't do 25 kts like I was told? didn't believe it anyway. The window rubbers I assume will be similar to the motor-trade pre-bonding era, and would be not too hard to find. I hope, if no originals can be found. What is it that is unique about the centre post of the windscreen? Is it a fitting that's irreplaceable?? I woill need the throttle lever too I assume it has to marry up to the outboard?

I originally had a 50hp 4 stroke Suzuki and that would only do 12 knots

needs at least a 60-70 to plane on the 570

The centre vertical has 2 slots in it but there are at angles to each other, that's where the problem lies sourcing one.

No idea what remote you will need but found this for you
