Water in ye olde 535 cabin floor

Hello folks,new 535 owner here.I've noticed that any water ingress is pooling on the cabin floor.The water ingress is another matter of course but I was wondering if it would be competent to drill a hole where door meets floor to allow the water to drain out.Would this open a can of worms ?would the water he able to drain naturally out of the transom area ? I do have a bilge pump located in a square recess under the removable seat..would the cabin water end up in there ?.also I don't appear to have a bung or anything similar on the transom....Sorry if these seem like stupid questions to you ancient mariners out the etc...

I know your pain, I’m a newbie myself, I have a 570 and that has water issues but I think it’s mainly condensation. I’m not to sure how similar the 535 and 570 are but I wouldn’t drill through the partition, maybe instal a bilge pump in that section. I have two pumps beneath the deck, one manual and one electric. I’ve just pulled my floor up to replace it and noticed water sitting in the bilge, there is a drain plug but the water doesn’t flow out. Fun fun fun.

Thank you jimbo for your thoughts.Ive just noticed water in the channel below the front triangular cushion section.What we have here essentialy is a sealed cabin section with no sign of an escape route for the water gathering therein.
