Height of table inside cabin - Shetland F4

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could take a quick measurement for me please, from the floor inside the cabin to the top surface of the table. I bought a generic table pole with mounts off eBay, but when its inside the cabin it feel quite a bit too high - would be good to know what height the table sat on the original so I can replicate!

Hi,

I discarded my table pole long ago, but I do remember it having tapers both ends to fit into the recessed floor socket and the table mount, and so not alterable by simply cutting it down.
You will need to buy a pole of suitable length, so simply measuring the height you want and buying the nearest available length pole is the easiest way.

Thanks for that, yes I know about the tapered ends - my plan was to cut in half and remove a section from the middle of the pole, then mig weld it back together, grind/polish.

I have a F4 table for sale if you'd be interested. There is a pole as well but no socket and fittings.
