Been a rib user for three or four years and having just had a baby boy decided a shetland was a better bet. I have purchased a 498 / hobby with an ervinrude 70 2stroke. We are due for our maiden voyage next week. Question is i only have a british seagul aux not even sure of its HP but has been very reliable (as ever). Is this a surficient aux just for a maiden trip around the bay, we wont be going out more than a few hundred yards from the beach in the sheltered bay of Aberporth West Wales.
would a 2HP??? British seagul push a Hobby?
