Black Prince for coastal cruising

Does anyone have experience on the black prince as a suitable coastal Cruiser?

I have a smaller 21’ 2 plus 2, has a medium / deep v like the Black Prince, ideal little vessel for coastal cruising. Previously had a wee 535, which whilst stable did slap and bang in a chop. The 2 plus 2 is in a different league, she just cuts through most stuff including the Solent chop with ease. Only slight regret is not repowering with a little modern inboard diesel as my 2 strokes consumption is eye watering, but I only do about 50 hrs/yr.

Condition is everything on a boat of this age. What engine are you looking at?

Engine is a 150 inboard

That should plane fine then, they’re a bit of a mass as they’re a pretty heavy boat owing to the layup. If you’re petrol particularly you need to work out your fuel capacity vs use carefully for longer passages.
