Hi. I'm about to undertake a similar project to yours only mine is an F4. Are you intending to replace the foam? If so what are you using? Has the Section of the hull where the outboard is attached been affected by any of the rotten timber or is the transom fibreglass? Roger

Thanks that makes sense. I had thought the floor was fibreglass as it does not appear to have plywood underneath where I have cut away the lockers at the back. I need to look at it more carefully. The floor is not dead flat and does flex in places which again made me think it was a sheet of ...

Thanks. The floor is therefore supported by wooden stringers with foam in between.
Apart from taking the the foam out completely and replacing the stringers is there anything else that can be done?
