Got a great quote from 'Navigators and general', anyone here ever use them...?

I have been with them for a number of years and have no complaints. The company sponsor a big passage race at my club on the Norfolk Broads and also enter a team to show that they are more than just interested in getting your money. A local owner had his very expensive hand made wooden mast replaced by them when a woodpecker drilled a hole [url][/url]in it.

PS Several Shetlands assist with the safety cover of this race, over 100 sailing boats for up to 24 hours and spread over a large area is a mamoth task in itself.

Going with chartis insurance now, fully comprehensive at an excellent price. It's all happening tomorrow, getting the boat delivered to the marina and choosing a berth, hopefully will get pics up tomorrow evening.

Take care not to be stopped by the police with that trailer, the max without brakes is 750 Kg. From memory the hull alone is almost that much and adding the engine and trailer will take you well over the legal limit.

Thanks Stan, the boat was delivered on that trailer, it was a 7hr drive to bring it here, I'll only be using it to launch the boat so I won't be out on the road with it. Good to know that but.

Congrats onthe new boat Rob. You had her out yet ?

Or are you going to do what we did ? Ours is now in a million bits....slowly getting back her back together though. We're going to miss our St Andrews day target for getting back in the water however. Maybe a week or two late

Thanks inspiral, waiting to March or April to put her in the water, there are just a few things to do cosmetically and a few things to purchase like,lifejackets, vhf radio, fire extinguisher, fenders and an auxiliary engine. I'm going to be out of pocket for a while but it'll be worth it. Best of luck with your rebuild.

Fire extinguisher, fire blanket, auxiliary engine and solar extractor fan all purchased, just life jackets now and my rya course to do and we're ready for the water....!
