Just ordered a new impellor so will have this fitted ready for next weekend for piece of mind to new owner

Circumstances dictate that I have to sell my 570 and engine.

It has stood for over 12months and found that the brushes had stuck in the start motor. This has now been refurbished.

Just fitted it back on and it started first time !!!

It comes with a Brand New Yamaha 703 remote,Yamaha Tacho, loom ...

Think it may be too heavy

When Shetland rated the boat at a max of 115hp 4 strokes were not available, so we have to presume that they were intending it to be based on 2 strokes which are much lighter.

You need to go by a maximum weight of a 115hp 2 stroke and compare this to what 4 strokes weight ...

VHF radio now sold

Due to the rising costs of refurbing my house Ive had to make the sad decision to sell my boat.

I have the following for sale .

1. A Simrad GO XSE chartplotter with 83/200 downscan transom mount transducer.

This comes with Cmaps charts as standard but I upgraded to the full Navionics charts which ...

It certainly should !!!!!

Don't worry about throttle remote, gear cables etc as they would normally be sold with the outboard


You will need to budget up to £200 for a steering kit with steering wheel, based on new prices

Been there and learnt the hard way

I initially had a Suzuki 50hp 4 stroke on my 570 and maximum speed was 13nmph with the tide.

its just too small

now got a 90hp yam 2 stroke waiting to finish commissioning.

You ideally need a min of a 70hp to get her on the plane

It should be 115hp for an outboard but remember that was for a 2 stroke engine.

A four stroke is much heavier so you really must set maximum as the weight of a 115hp 2 stroke if going down the 4 stroke route.

basically 115hp max 2 stroke

much lower if using 4 stroke
